Sir Alex Ferguson Finally Speaks On Manchester United's New Boss, Eric Ten Hag

Last week, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s replacement, Ten Hag, was announced on a three-year contract with a 12-month extension option.

Since the iconic Scot retired at the end of the 2012/13 season, he will be the fifth permanent replacement to Ferguson.

After Sir Alex’s retirement, United has failed to win the Premier League, with its most recent trophy coming in the Europa League in 2017.

When asked if Ten Hag may be the one to turn United’s misfortunes around on RTE Racing, Ferguson said: “I hope he does well, the club needs someone to get in control and I hope he does well.”
