Skit Creator, Trinity Guy Released From Prison

The skit creator Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, also known as Trinity Guy, has gotten his freedom back five weeks after being imprisoned in the Agodi detention facility on remand.

According to a previous report from LIB, the skit creator was invited by the Oyo state police command on Friday, June 23, after the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, demanded his arrest due to a video in which he asked a female juvenile to identify his genitalia.

After Trinity revealed that he had previously obtained their permission before using the female minor for the skit, the police also questioned the girl’s parents. He clearly broke Sections 32, 35, and 36 of the Child Rights Act of 2023, according to the police command, who detailed his interaction with the kid. On June 26, the trio was charged with two counts of sexual abuse and sexual exploitation in violation of Sections 516 of the Criminal Code, cap. 38, before Magistrate Oludare Adebayo.

The skit creator and the minor’s parents were ordered by the court to be remanded at the Agodi correctional facility on June 26.

In a recent development, skit creator Abdugalfar Abiola, also known as Cute Abiola, disclosed that his colleague had been granted bail and was now free to go.
