South African Rapper, AKA, Says He Will Never Be The Same Person Again, Four Months After The Demise Of His Fiancee, Nelli Tembe

There’s no way to sugarcoat it, losing a loved one is painful. Through the heartache and grief it’s important to remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

South African rapper, Keirnan Forbes popularly known as AKA, this morning took to his Instagram page to express his sadness four months after losing his fiancee, Nelli Tembe.

The 22-year-old died on Sunday, April 11 after she fell from the 10th floor of the Pepperclub hotel in Cape Town.

AKA in his post said he will never be the same person he was but that he will do the best he can with the gift and opportunities of the life he has left.

He wrote

”4 months to this day.… it never goes away. Everyday I pray for her, myself and our families. I will never be the same person I was … but I will do the best I can with the gift and opportunity of life that I still have left. Thank You to everyone who has stuck by me and our respective families … you know who you are.”

We wish we had the power to take back every pain, worry and hurt that you are passing through.  Be strong!

May her soul continue to rest in peace.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
