Spain defeated England 2-1 in Berlin on Sunday to win Euro 2024 and take home the trophy for a record-tying fourth time.
Spain’s triumph came late in the game. After Nico Williams gave Spain the lead early in the second half, Real Sociedad striker Cole Palmer equalized for the Three Lions with a goal in the 86th minute.
At the last moment, Dani Olmo headed Marc Guehi’s attempt over the line and into safety, keeping England’s lead intact.
