Speed Darlington Responds Calmly To NAPTIP’s Wanted Notice

According to Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington, he is not concerned about being listed by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Due to accusations of rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking, the federal authorities issued a wanted list for Darlington.

“Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking. Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately,” NAPTIP said on its Instagram account.

In his reaction, the controversial artiste stated that he is not worried because the body has no right to declare him wanted.

“Thanks for the heads up, but I’m not worried. They have no right to declare me wanted.

“My lawyer has already sent it (the ‘wanted’ posted) to me. They just want to embarrass themselves. My lawyer will handle it,” he said in an interview with Saturday Beats.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
