MY LORD AND MY GOD!

The story of Thomas invites us to dive deep into the powerful essence of community life, highlighting the dynamic interplay between our private faith and the vibrant social dimensions of being a Christian—both of which are essential!

In our fast-paced world, where scientific proof often reigns supreme, Thomas’s journey resonates profoundly. Picture this: when Thomas distances himself from the community, he grapples with doubt, unable to accept the exhilarating testimony of his fellow disciples. He clings to the need for tangible evidence, declaring, “Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe!”

But hold on! Just a week later, everything changes. In the company of his fellow disciples, Thomas steps into a shared experience of faith that blows his doubts away! With Jesus present in their midst, Thomas revels in that moment of connection and discovery. Suddenly, the need for proof vanishes; he neither seeks nor accepts it, even when Jesus offers it!

Today, let’s celebrate the incredible gift of our community! The love, companionship, prayers, and unwavering support we receive from those around us can powerfully reinforce and illuminate our faith journeys. And in turn, we have the chance to inspire and uplift others through our witness.

Today's Quote

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
