In a recent video, a physics teacher was seen chased and attacked by a group of middle school pupils in Texas, who fractured his arm.

According to reports, some students from Aragon Middle School attacked assistant baseball coach and high school physics instructor Michael Shott at baseball practice at Langham Creek High School in Houston on Thursday, February 10th.

Shott is seen on cell phone recording, fleeing through the high school parking lot at full speed while being pursued by multiple students, uploaded to Reddit.

Other students could be seen filming the attack on their phones while he was being chased.

The attackers eventually caught up with him and forced their coach to the ground, but he got up and ran out of the parking lot away from them.

Shott’s mother, Peggy Shott, informed KTRK that her son broke his arm as a result of the incident.

She said, “He’s doing fine. He’s at home. He has a broken arm, but the kids said that he’s doing what he’s always done and he’s fine.

“The reason it happened to him was because he was doing his job. He stopped the kids. Well, there was only one kid at first. The reason the others came back is because they didn’t like him stopping them.”

The instructor was attacked because he told the children they couldn’t ride dirt bikes or ATVs on school premises, according to local station KABB.

Following the incident, the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District revealed that the school had received threats of even more violence on social media, prompting the deployment of security officers.

The four students who were involved in the incident were placed under arrest and will be reprimanded in line with the district’s code of conduct, according to a letter to parents from district officials.

It’s unclear whether the minors will face criminal charges as a result of the assault.

The school authorities said, “Our campuses must be the safest places in our community for students, staff, and visitors.

“We will not tolerate anyone compromising the safe environment of our campuses, and will address violations to the greatest extent possible.”
