Super Eagles Drop In FIFA’s Global Ranking

Following a disappointing performance in September, the Nigerian Super Eagles have fallen in the most recent FIFA rankings.

The Super Eagles are officially ranked 32 in the world for October according to the most recent rankings announced by FIFA on Thursday, October 6.

The Super Eagles, led by Jose Peseiro, dropped 6.23 points after losing both of their games against Algeria during the last international break.

Jose’s squad drew in Constantine against the home team of the Desert Warriors and lost one in Oran.

Although the Super Eagles are currently rated 32nd in the world, they still hold the 4th position in Africa.

After outstanding performances in September against two of Africa’s powerhouses, Ghana and Tunisia, Brazil continues to lead the log.

Belgium’s Red Devils are still in second place, followed by Argentina, Brazil’s rival in South America.

The top five ranked countries are completed by France, which is ranked fourth, and England, which is ranked fifth.
