Super Falcons Striker Nominated For 2022 Women’s Ballon d’Or Award

Asisat Oshoala, a striker for the Super Falcons of Nigeria, has entered the 20-person shortlist for the Women’s Ballon d’Or award in 2022.

Oshoala recently surpassed her compatriot Perpetua Nkwocha by being named the 2022 CAF Women’s Player of the Year for the fifth time.

The 27-year-old will now compete for the Ballon d’Or award against strong competitors including Sam Kerr, Vivianne Miedema, Beth Mead, and Alex Morgan.
