Susan Peters Opens Up On Her Crashed Marriage 

Nollywood actress and entrepreneur Susan Peters, who called off her marriage in early 2022, revealed one of the main reasons.

According to Susan Peters, her ex-mother-in-law didn’t like her because of her skin color.

The Benue State-born actress made news when she responded to Prince Harry’s statement about how his family treated Meghan because of her skin color.

In his two interviews with British and US broadcasters ITV and CBS, the Duke of Sussex spoke about the death of his mother and former Princess of Wales. His disdain for the British press. His outrage over his treatment of his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, and subsequent altercations with his family since their marriage.

“We all go through the same thing , my mother In-law never liked me too. I think the color itself is intimidating, oh well … we never agreed with each other at all,” Susan Peters wrote on her Instagram page in reaction to the video of Prince Harry’s statement.
It would be recalled that the movie star in March 2022.

She moved on and deleted everything that would remind her of her short-lived romance with her former husband, Dr Koen Croon. 

The beautiful actress married her Dutch sweetheart in a traditional wedding ceremony held in Benue State in 2015.

The couple later held a civil marriage in the presence of some of the bride’s film industry colleagues at the Marriage Registry Office in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The problems started when Susan and her husband had to start their married life when they lived miles apart.

The actress was pregnant with her first child when rumors surfaced that the marriage had broken down.

she lost her pregnancy. A very private person, Susan kept her mouth shut and continued to enjoy her marriage. Shortly thereafter, the marriage finally fell apart.

One of the reasons for the separation was the distance that separated the couple. Susan Peters has been busy with her acting career in Nigeria and she has neglected her husband abroad.

The actress wasn’t ready to completely settle down at the expense of her solid acting career. This forced her husband to indulge in extramarital affairs during her absence. Even though the actress found out about this and tried to get her things back together, her marriage fell apart.
