Taaooma Shares Her Thoughts On Motherhood

Nigerian comedian Mariam Apaokagi, better known by her stage as Taaooma, has talked about the surprising ways that parenthood has altered her life.

The content creator stated in an interview with Pulse Nigeria that motherhood has taught her that nothing is really impossible.

She clarified that becoming a mother challenges a person’s boundaries and enables them to find strength they were unaware they possessed.

She said: “I realized that there’s nothing like I can’t do it. Being a mom, you always find a way. Even if you think you cannot do it, you actually find yourself doing it. Secondly, I never thought I would be able to love somebody so much. But you see, I love her more than myself.”

Additionally, Taaooma disclosed that she now feels a type of love she never thought was possible. She claims that since becoming a mother, her belief that she could never love someone more than herself has altered.

The comedian proposed to Abdulaziz Oladimeji, who is known as Abula in Namibia, in February 2020, and the two were married on 24 January 2021 and the couple welcomed a baby girl in 2024, as Taaooma shared video with the baby on December 5.
