Tacha, a reality TV personality and businesswoman, has won two Guinness World Records for her extraordinary makeup skills. She completed 143 makeovers in a day and 82 makeovers in eight hours.
After a lengthy makeover session at the Tacha Beauty Festival in October 2025 at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture and History, the records were validated.
Tacha announced the accomplishment on social media and dedicated the honors to women who pursue their goals in spite of uncertainty and challenges.
She wrote, “I want to take a moment to officially unveil my two @guinnessworldrecords plaques 82 makeovers in 8 hours and 143 makeovers in 24 hours with this beautiful SUIT from @prudent_gabriel
“And For anyone that knows me, you already know I like to do things myself… one-man mopo. Not because I enjoy doing everything alone, but because sometimes if you want something done right, you have to be involved in the process.
“But let me be honest, even with the platform I have, even after being in this industry for years, it still wasn’t easy putting together a three-day beauty festival and attempting 2 Guinness World Record.
“Some brands that initially wanted to sponsor the festival pulled out at the very last minute. A lot of people simply didn’t believe it was possible.
“They said, “How can one person be good at influencing, advocacy, be a graduate, a reality TV star, a philanthropist, a CEO running businesses… and still be a professional makeup artist?”
“To them, it just didn’t make sense. But I’m grateful to God through his son PAPA @flourishpeters that I was able to prove that it is POSSIBLE. Because one thing I know for sure is this:
“What God cannot do does not exist. It has never existed and it will never start existing now.
“So today, I dedicate these awards to every amazing woman out there every woman who is still dreaming, every woman who is still on her journey of becoming, every woman who sometimes doubts herself but still keeps going. Look at this and remember: Whatever you put your mind to do, you can achieve it.”
