Taylor Swift Begins The Eras Tour In Stunning Outfit

As part of the 52-date US leg of Taylor Swift’s eagerly anticipated Eras tour, two nights will be spent in Glendale, Arizona.

Swift, who opened the night with songs from her Lovers period, appeared on stage wearing a strapless bejeweled bodysuit and sparkly knee-high boots.

Both the Christian Louboutin silver boots and the Versace silver, pink, and blue bodysuit were made especially for the singer.

The pop queen wore an encrusted blazer (also by Versace) over her opening ensemble halfway through the Lover set, which also features fan favorites Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, Cruel Summer, and You Need To Calm Down.

“You are breathtaking in Versace,” chief creative officer Donatella Versace wrote in an Instagram post dedicated to Swift.

“I’m so proud of you. Best of luck on The Eras Tour.”

Swift selected a gorgeous couture dress by San Francisco-based Taiwanese designers Nicole and Felicia to play Enchanted, the sole song from her Speak Now album, on opening night.

The full-skirted garment has more than 200,000 sequins and crystals stitched on it, the brother and sister combo announced on Instagram.

Swift modified her Enchanted appearance for the second show by donning a second custom gown, this time by Zuhair Murad.

It took the Lebanese designer 350 hours to make, was made of pink tulle, and had a starburst bodice and cross-strap back. The singer wore two beaded two-piece costumes by Roberto Cavalli in magenta and green for the five-song segment honoring the popular album 1989.

The skirt and top combinations were decorated with diamond-shaped Swarovski crystals and beaded fringe as part of a capsule collection that creative director Fausto Puglisi created for the tour.

“The design, the finishing, the hand application of each crystal and fringe has been handcrafted to match the extraordinary talent that is Taylor Swift,” an Instagram post from the Italian label read.

The midnight blue sequin and crystal embroidered bodysuit was adorned with sparkly fringing.

The New York-based fashion house revealed on Instagram that the bodysuit took 315 to make, with over 5,300 crystals embroidered by hand. The Eras tour continues with the next dates taking place in Las Vegas.
