A married teacher in Australia has been charged with sexual intercourse with a kid in her care after reportedly having s*x with a student in the back seat of her car.
Tayla Brailey, 30, was arrested at Lurnea High School this week and charged with sxual intercourse with a kid under her supervision, sxually touching a child under her supervision, and aggravated s*xual assault of a minor.
According to court documents, the newlywed burst into tears when police arrived at the Sydney school where she teaches.
The teacher allegedly said: “I am going to jail, aren’t I? I’m going to lose my family, my husband, my job.”
According to the Daily Telegraph, additional details concerning Brailey’s alleged misdeeds have been revealed in court.
Police allege that Brailey emailed the 17-year-old videos of herself m@sturbating and purchased the morning-after pill following an alleged s*xual encounter.
The alleged affair with the pupil began in early July, when the boy added Brailey on Snapchat and the two began messaging.
“The accused [allegedly] sent a number of photographs and videos of herself both naked and while she was m@sturbating herself,” the police facts state.
“The victim also returned a number of photographs and videos of himself.”
Brailey then welcomed the teenager to her house, where she allegedly kissed him before leading him to an upstairs room and assigning him a ‘hand’ task.
A week later, Brailey was on duty at school when she called the teen and said she was available for an hour.
They then met and had intercourse in Brailey’s car, following which she purchased the morning-after pill, according to authorities.
Contact between the two then ended until Brailey allegedly phoned the alleged victim and asked him whether he had told anyone about their alleged s*xual experience, to which he replied, no.
The child later told authorities that he felt compelled to send Brailey p*rnographic photographs to keep her “happy.”
Brailey married in 2023, and her parents and spouse appeared in court to support her.
Brailey was granted bail at Liverpool Crown Court and must report to police three times a week, relinquish her passport, and refrain from using social media.
