Terrorist Reportedly Arrested In Lagos State

According to reports, Lagos State has made arrests of certain individuals thought to be terrorists who are causing chaos around the country.

The suspects, who were dressed in military camouflage and other equipment, were recently apprehended in several parts of the state, according to Vanguard.

According to information obtained, the alleged terrorists were sent by their sponsors to scout out potential attack targets in several parts of Lagos.

According to sources, the Department of State Service, or DSS, and the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army were behind the arrests.

Maj. Gen. Umar Musa, the departing General Officer of the 81 Division of the Nigerian Army, confirmed that numerous arrests had been made in an interview with journalists on Tuesday at the 81 Division headquarters in Kofo Abayomi, Victoria Island, and said that the Nigeria Police Force had been informed of them.

He said, “I can’t remember how many impersonators we have arrested. But we still have quite a large number of them.

“When we make arrests we hand them over to the Nigeria Police to do further investigation and prosecute them because we don’t have the power to prosecute.”

He said that the person who supplies the army camouflage to the impersonators had also been apprehended, but he did not specify if they were bandits.
