“The female music industry is too boring.” – Teni Complains

Teni, a singer from Nigeria, has taken to social media to vent her frustration with the lack of rivalry and drama among female performers in the business.

Teni encouraged her female colleagues to generate more buzz by posting a video on Instagram on Thursday, following the lead set by their male counterparts.

She said,

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This female music industry is too, it’s too boring! Tell mr why Tems and Ayra Starr no fit see themselves and tell themselves like ‘Your papa, your papa papa’?”

Teni playfully suggested that her colleagues should stir up some drama and then collaborate.

“Tell me why I no fit dey see Tiwa Savage and tell her ‘wetin dey do you?’ Shey we don’t see what’s going on the other side; everyone is just here doing love. Sometimes e be like say make I just give Yemi Alade a headbutt. Make we see outside, make security separate us,” she added.

“Let’s add some spice and collaborate later. Fighting does not mean we won’t collaborate together later; but make we give them saint Obi for this music, I dey tell you. Let’s give them drama, proper action film.”

Teni please choose peace.
