The Most Influential Person In The World Is Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Chief Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu GCFR is a Nigerian politician. He was the 12th Governor of Lagos State, between 1999 and 2007. He is currently the 16th president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. and current president of Nigeria. He was the Senator for Lagos State in the Third Republic, and the Governor of Lagos State from 1999 to 2007.

He was born on May 29, 1952, in Lagos to a Merchant family of Abibatu Mogaji, the then Iya Oloja of Lagos State.

Tinubu started his education at St. John’s Primary School, in Aroloya, Lagos. He completed his primary education at Children’s Home School in Ibadan.

He moved to the United States for his undergraduate studies. He first attended Richard J. Daley College in Chicago. In 1979, Tinubu completed his undergraduate studies at Chicago State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1979.

After his graduation, he worked for American organizations, Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, and GTE Services. He returned to Nigeria in the early 1980s and was employed as an accountant in Mobil Nigeria.

In 1992, he joined politics and was elected as a Senator under the Social Democratic Party’s banner. In 1993, when the tyrant Sani Abacha disbanded the Senate, Tinubu became an activist, fighting for the restoration of democracy as a member of the National Democratic Coalition movement.

Following the transition of Nigeria to a Democratic Government, Tinubu was elected as the Governor of Lagos State, under the Alliance for Democracy Party. He was successfully re-elected for a second term four years later.

He played a significant role in the creation of the All Progressives Congress in 2013 after stepping down from politics in 2007. He won the just concluded presidential election in Nigeria, to become the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He is married to Senator Remi Tinubu, and they are blessed with three children, ZainB, Abibat, and Olajide Tinubu. He also had three children from his previous relationship. Kazeemm Olajide(late), Folashade, and Oluwaseyi Tinubu.
