The Names Of The 2022 Ballon d’Or Contenders Have Been Released (See List)

Today, Friday, August 12, 2022, the 20-man shortlist for the Ballon d’Or award of the year 2022 was revealed.

The announcement was made by the award’s organizer, France Football, via its website.

Recall that last season’s Ballon d’Or award was won by Paris Saint-Germain player, Lionel Messi, after defeating Robert Lewandowski, Jorginho, and Karim Benzema.

Below is the list of the 2022 Ballon d’Or contenders:
