They Are Political IDPs – Tinubu Taunts Coalition Planners

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu today mocked politicians orchestrating a proposed political alliance intended to thwart his re-election campaign in 2027.

While visiting Nasarawa state to inaugurate several projects, President Tinubu labeled the coalition’s proponents as political “internally displaced persons.”

Addressing the rumored opposition coalition, which reportedly involves former Kaduna State Governor Nasiru El-Rufai and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, President Tinubu denounced the partnership as an immature and foolish political maneuver.

“Those who have triggered the early politics in the perdition of coalition suddenly. Don’t pay them any attention; they are the political IDPs. Don’t give them a home; the hope is here,” the President declared.

He emphasized that he would not stay quiet while adversaries schemed to undermine him.

“I’m not geared for what they tried to pull on me. Early political campaign but who is the politician who will keep quiet when the gangsters are forming a coalition to unseat themselves.”

Tinubu asserted that his government has made significant progress despite ongoing economic challenges.

“We’ve cut the waste. I won’t say much on the economic dynamism that we’re facing, but the hope is here. From this moment on, you’ll have no regret,” he stated.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
