Thief Posing As Delivery Person Steals $11M In Cryptocurrency After Tying Up Homeowner

A robber equipped with a weapon and pretending to be a package delivery person pushed his way inside a residence in San Francisco during the recent weekend, restrained the property owner by binding them, and escaped with the affected individual’s mobile phone, portable computer, and roughly $11 million worth of digital currency.

This audacious theft took place at approximately 6:45 in the morning on that particular Saturday inside a dwelling located within the Mission Dolores area of San Francisco, as indicated by an official police document that was acquired by the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper.

The pretend delivery agent rapidly abandoned the pretense by displaying a firearm and securing the victim using adhesive tape, as outlined in the police document, based on information from the news source.

It remains uncertain whether the victim sustained any injuries or whether any individuals have been apprehended in connection with this event.

Further information regarding the perpetrator and the specifics of the theft were not disclosed by law enforcement authorities.

This particular theft is happening in the context of an increase in aggressive abductions and unsuccessful theft attempts targeting people who invest in cryptocurrency.

During the month of March, a band of intruders tried to take digital currency from the residence belonging to the online personality known as Amouranth, whose actual name is Kaitlyn Siragusa. She generates approximately $2 million each month through the sale of video content on the OnlyFans platform and by participating in gaming streams on Twitch.

In the month of May, individuals involved in cryptocurrency named John Woeltz, who is 37 years old, and William Duplessie, who is 33 years old, faced allegations of abducting and inflicting pain on an Italian wealthy person named Michael Valentino Teofrasto Carturan within a townhouse located in New York City in order to obtain his password for Bitcoin.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
