Three Ladies Caught With Massive Amounts Of Illegal Substances

Three ladies have been detained by NDLEA agents after packages of marijuana, pentazocine injections, and other illegal substances were found in their possession.

Mary Ugwu and Hawwa Idi were detained at Anchau town in Kubau Local Government Area of Kaduna State with 721 ampoules of pentazocine injection, 37,000 tablets of exol-5, nine ampoules of diazepam injection, as well as 6.8kg of rubber solution, according to agency spokesperson Femi Babfemi.

Mr Femi also stated that NDLEA agents searched an electronics store at Alaba International Market in Lagos, belonging to Mrs Ebere Aja, 38, and found 972.5kg of marijuana.

Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), chairman of the NDLEA, praised the officers and personnel of the command for their vigilance and courage.

He urged them to maintain their focus as they carry out their duties every day, along with everyone else in the nation.
