Timi Dakolo Shares Advice On Moving Out Of Your Parents’ House

Singer Timi Dakolo has cautioned young people against leaving their parents’ homes just because their friends are doing so.

He cautioned against making such choices under duress, particularly when the primary motivation is a sense of inadequate freedom at home.

He believes that rather than moving to live alone just to blend in, young people should take their time and consider their options carefully.

In a post he shared on X, he wrote:

“No hurry leave your papa house because of peer pressure. Forget all that, ‘i don’t have freedom here’.”

People should take Timi Dakolo’s advice and avoid rushing out of their parents’ home simply because of peer pressure. Moving out before you’re financially or emotionally ready can make life more difficult and you may find yourself rushing back home. Take your time and move out when you’re truly prepared.
