Tina Turner Pays Tribute To Her “Loving Son”

Ronnie Turner, Tina Turner’s “loving son,” has passed away and the singer has paid him respect.

Ronnie Turner, who died at the age of 62, was remembered by Tina Turner as her “loving son.”

The well-known singer, 83, said in an online post that her son had “left the world far too early.”

Ronnie Turner passed away on December 8 after allegedly having health problems in the past.

He had a successful musical career, performing with the band Manufactured Funk, and he also appeared in the biopic about his mother What’s Love Got To Do With It from 1993.

On Friday Tina Turner posted a black and white photo to Instagram in tribute to her son.

“Ronnie, you left the world far too early. In sorrow I close my eyes and think of you, my beloved son,” the Proud Mary singer captioned the photo.

Ronnie Turner was the singer’s son with ex-husband Ike Turner.

Her eldest son Craig Turner, who she shared with musician Raymond Hill, died by suicide in 2018. On July 3, 2018, Ronnie’s brother Raymond Craig died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound at the age of 59. Tina now only has two sons left after the passing of Ronnie and Raymond Craig.

Ike Jr and Michael are the last of Tina and Ike’s sons together.

Ronnie also had two additional siblings, sisters Twanna and Mia, from Ike’s other relationships.

Like his parents, Ronnie also had a love for performing.

He performed in the Angela Bassett-starring biography about his mother called What’s Love Got To Do With It.j

According to People Magazine, Ronnie was a member of the band Manufactured Funk. He played bass guitar and even appeared on several of his mother’s tours.

Fans have taken to Twitter to send condolences to the family of Ronnie Turner after news broke of his sudden death.
