I have compiled a list of habits that I try to follow. I’m not perfect so I don’t follow all but slowly, I’m being intentional in making these habits my lifestyle;
Go for walks

Take time for yourself to relax, unwind, and engage in activities that bring you joy and fulfillment
Read. It increases your knowledge and heals your mind. Don’t read from your phone use a real book.
Meditate at least 10 mins a day
Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Establish a consistent sleep schedule and create a relaxing bedtime routine to improve sleep quality.
Drink an adequate amount of water throughout the day to maintain proper hydration, which is essential for overall health.
Focus on a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Practice portion control and mindful eating.
Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine, whether it’s walking, cycling, yoga, or any activity you enjoy. Aim for at least 2 hours 30 minutes of exercise per day.
Practice stress-reduction techniques like mindfulness, meditation, deep breathing, or hobbies that relax and calm your mind.
Establish both short-term and long-term goals to give your life direction and purpose. These goals can be related to career, personal growth, or health.
Foster relationships with friends and family, and prioritize social interactions to support your emotional well-being.
Cultivate a sense of gratitude by regularly reflecting on the positive aspects of your life. This can improve your overall outlook and mood.
Organize and declutter your living and workspaces. A clean environment can promote mental clarity and reduce stress.
Take breaks from electronic devices and social media to recharge and connect with the present moment.
Maintain personal hygiene and practice self-care routines that make you feel good and relaxed.
Set boundaries and say no when necessary to avoid overextending yourself.
Replace negative self-talk with positive affirmations and self-compassionate thoughts. Your mental outlook can greatly influence your well-being.
Incorporating these habits into your daily routine takes practice and patience. Identify the habits that work for you and make them a priority. Over time, these positive habits can lead to a more balanced and fulfilling lifestyle.
Remember, it’s okay to start with small changes and gradually build upon them. Don’t rush.
