Music star Tiwa Savage has been honoured with a special recognition award at the Women4Africa awards in London.
Savage, who is on a US tour, was honoured with the award in recognition of her successful music career.
Though absent at the award night Savage commended the organisers of the award in a thank you speech rendered through a video.
In her speech, Savage dedicated the award to women who are pulling their weights in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
