Tolu Ijogun Honors Her Mum, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, On Her 65th Posthumous Birthday

Celebrating the life and legacy of a beloved mother on her posthumous birthday is a heartfelt opportunity to reflect on her lasting impact. Pastor Bimbo Odukoya would have celebrated her 65th birthday today, September 12 and Tolu Ijogun paid a moving homage to her mother on social media.

Reflecting on her mother’s life and times, Tolu wrote a post on her Instagram site.

She described the late Bimbo as an “enigma striding through life in 6-inch heels, fire in her eyes, and the Word of Jesus Christ on her lips”

’“She was an enigma…a force.…striding through life in 6-inch heels, fire in her eyes, and the Word of Jesus Christ on her lips.

In her short 45 years on earth, she shook the world. She left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her, building a legacy that still speaks loudly today.

She would have been 65 today. The words ‘I miss you’ will never capture the depth of the ache or the size of the void you left behind. But this I know…I love you still, and I will love you forever.

They say, ‘A lion cannot give birth to a goat,’ Your baby cub has grown into a lioness, walking proudly in the path and legacy you carved out. Happy Birthday, my Mother.”… You were the Best!!!!”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
