Trump Set To Ban People From 43 Countries From Travelling To The US

The Donald Trump administration is said to be contemplating extensive travel limitations for citizens from 43 nations as part of a fresh ban, extending an immigration clampdown that the US President began at the outset of his second term in January.

The New York Times disclosed that an internal document organizes these countries into three distinct classifications.

The initial category (termed the ‘red list’) encompasses 11 nations: Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Venezuela, and Yemen. Their citizens are suggested to be ‘flatly barred’ from entering the United States.

The second category (‘orange list’) consists of 10 countries where travel would face restrictions but not a complete halt. In their situation, wealthy business travelers might be permitted to visit the US, though not those holding immigrant or tourist visas. This group includes Belarus, Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Turkmenistan.

The third grouping (yellow list), the most extensive of the trio with 22 countries, would be given 60 days to rectify perceived shortcomings, under the risk of being shifted to one of the other categories if they fail to comply.

It comprises Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Congo, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, São Tomé and Príncipe, Vanuatu, and Zimbabwe.

A US official, speaking anonymously, warned that alterations to the list could occur, and it still awaits approval from the Trump administration, including Marco Rubio, the secretary of state.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
