Two 200 Level Students Found Dead In Their Hostel Room

Two 200-level students of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU), were reportedly found dead inside their hostel room.

The students, Victor and Decency, were discovered dead after their neighbours broke into their hostel room.

It has been alleged that Victor and Decency may have suffered food poisoning as they both reportedly vomited blood and had white substances in their noses.

They were rumoured to have sent a biker to get them food, and after eating it, they were discovered dead the next morning.

Adanma Odefa, the PRO of MOUAU confirmed the incident saying, “We don’t know anything about eating food and the bike man. All we know is that we found two students dead in their rooms, that is we know. I don’t know where you are getting the eating of food and the bike man story; I don’t even have this information.”

When asked if a medical report on the causes of their deaths had been conducted, Odefa responded, “The police have taken their bodies to the morgue and anything left is for the parents of the deceased. We have informed the families, so we are not talking about this.”

One of the deceased, Decency, was the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Students Union Government (SUG) and was running for re-election at the time of his death.
