Two Police Officers Under Investigation As They Handcuff Black Kid And Let White Kid Go (Video)

After rushing to stop a fight at Bridgewater Commons Mall, two New Jersey police officers have been placed under investigation.  A video circulating on social media shows two adolescents fighting, soon before authorities handcuffed the black kid and forced him to the ground, leaving the white student sitting on a couch.

The adolescents were first seen in a heated conversation. The scenario quickly turned into a fight in which both teenagers exchanged blows. Officers rush up to the scenes as the white teen smashes the black teen to the ground, flinging the white teen into the couch and forcing the black kid to the ground as they handcuff him.

The female cop tossed the white kid onto a nearby couch and signaled him to stay there. Simultaneously, the male police tackled the Black kid to the ground, leaned on him, and handcuffed him, while the female officer quickly kneeled on his back to keep him down on the ground.

According to an eyewitness, “It’s because he’s black that it’s trigger. Racially energized ” Both youths were given three years banned by the mall according to NJ.com, while investigations are still being carried out by the Bridgewater Police Department.

In a statement published on Facebook, the Department said, “We recognize that this video has made members of our community upset and are calling for an internal affairs investigation.

We have requested that the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office assist us in this matter.”

Police officers are not generally stationed at the mall, according to Troy Fischer, senior general manager of the mall, but the Bridgewater Police Department got a warning that a fight would break out there on Saturday night. As a result, officers from the police department were summoned to the area just before the event.

Eboné, the mother of the black kid, told ABC 7 that she was happy that her son was unharmed, and demanded that the two police officers be fired.

The mother said, “I had to observe it on mute. I nonetheless have not watched it and listened to the audio, I am infant-stepping my way into observing it, but it can be just crazy.

“It doesn’t consider two cops to keep a 14-year-outdated boy down who is not resisting when the other boy is just heading free of charge and however heading off on my son. It just isn’t going to make feeling.”
