Nigerian musician and manager Ubi Franklin has called having children with different women one of his greatest life mistakes and advised young people to steer clear of the same course.
In a recent episode of his podcast, “Talks with Ubi Franklin,” the talent manager talked about his own experiences.
Franklin said in the video, which was posted to his Instagram page on Wednesday, that although he adores his kids, he wishes he had made different decisions.
“One of the worst decisions you could ever make is to have kids with different women.”
“I’m one of those people who are in it, and I can tell you that no matter the money you think you have, no matter what you have, no matter what you think you are doing, that should never be a decision you’re going to make in life.”
“Some of us are lucky that God has given us some good money to be able to take care of them. But taking care of them is not the problem. It is managing the emotions of the adults who are their mothers.”
“I want to tell young people, please and please, no matter the life you want to live, let baby mama drama not be part of it because some of us have survived it, but some of you might not be able to survive it.”
“I wish I had taken a different road on it. Children are the best thing that we can ever have in our lives. If you can do anything possible in your life, just have all of them in one place.”
“Learn from my experience. Growth begins with honesty.”
Having children with multiple women is a path fraught with challenges that can drain you both financially and mentally.
Ubi Franklin’s experience serves as a valuable lesson for others to consider carefully before venturing into such a situation.
It’s essential to prioritize stability and emotional well-being, understanding that spreading oneself too thin can have lasting repercussions.
Learn from Ubi’s journey and remember that responsible choices today can lead to a more stable and fulfilling future.
