Unwavering Endurance

The Christian life can be compared to a long-distance race, which requires endurance to successfully run it. The importance of a strong start cannot be denied, yet it is our unwavering endurance that ultimately determines our ability to achieve a successful finish.

Enoch will forever hold a revered position in the history of endurance. He walked with God for an astonishing 300 years. However, it is important to note that those years were not solely characterized by glamour and constant excitement. In a world similar to ours, it was unavoidable that he would experience his fair share of challenges, confusions, and even instances of persecution. However, he did not become tired of doing good. He persevered until the end.

If you ever find yourself tempted to give up, remember these wise words: “To accomplish God’s will and attain the promised rewards, one must possess endurance.”

This season, let endurance serve as your guiding principle.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
