Uriel Oputa Reveals Her Medical Condition

Reality TV star, Uriel Oputa has taken to social media to reveal her type of medicine condition.

Taking to her Instagram story, Uriel Oputa revealed that she has dyslexic.

Dyslexia is a disorder that affects reading abilities, characterized by difficulty in connecting speech sounds to letters and words.

Dyslexia results from individual differences in the parts of the brain that enable reading. It tends to run in families. Dyslexia appears to be linked to certain genes that affect how the brain processes reading and language.

Sharing a short video on her Instagram story, she talked about the message she received from a fan.

She said: “Someone sent me a message, Uriel you are really nice, you are amazing, I love what you do, I just find it hard sometimes when I read what you write, only sometimes, you miss your comma, your full stop bla bla bla… I’m dyslexic! I am very dyslexic.

“Sometimes, I might get it right, and I might be Albert Einstein. Some days,E no gree! Comma, full stop, even alignment no dey gree. So leave me be, I’m dyslexic.

On the video, she wrote: I’m dyslexic. Thank you. Sometimes I miss words even if I’ve checked 100 times. I’m extremely smart, but dyslexic is part of me”.

Dyslexia is not due to problems with intelligence, hearing or vision. Most children with dyslexia can succeed in school with tutoring or a specialized education program. Emotional support also plays an important role.

Though there’s no cure for dyslexia, early assessment and intervention result in the best outcome. Sometimes dyslexia goes undiagnosed for years and isn’t recognized until adulthood, but it’s never too late to seek help.

Uriel Oputa who is also a chef issued a public warning to Nigerians about their eating habits.
