Victor Osimhen ‘Set To Join Al Hilal

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is reportedly nearing a transfer to Saudi Arabia, as he is said to be “closing in on personal agreement” with Al Hilal.

The Nigerian star is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, with his contract, set to expire in 2026, including a £63million release clause available for clubs outside Italy.

Osimhen also played a key role in helping Galatasaray win the Super Lig this season, contributing 25 goals and five assists in 29 matches for the Turkish powerhouse.

The striker has been frequently linked with several Premier League teams, such as Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal. However, instead of pursuing a move to a top European side, Osimhen is in advanced talks with Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, according to Sky Sports.

It is understood that Osimhen’s potential three-year deal could see him earn approximately £15m per season while playing in the Gulf nation.

The report further noted that Al Hilal are optimistic about finalizing the transfer, though Osimhen’s move will not be completed until the club secures the necessary funding from the Saudi government to complete the signing.

While Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Sports has yet to approve the release of these funds, Al Hilal remain unconcerned, as their president has reportedly received verbal confirmation of Osimhen’s interest in joining the club.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
