“We Have To Do More Before The Elections” – Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has asked party members in the Northeast to take more action before the 2023 elections.

He said this during the wedding reception of Misbahu Yahaya, the son of Governor Inuwa Yahaya, in Gombe on Saturday.

The former governor of Lagos also reminded the APC supporters that Kashim Shettima, his running mate, is a native of the area.

He further expressed his gratitude to party members and supporters for their efforts.

He said, “Now that your son is equally the running mate you have to double your efforts, and you have to do more.

“I challenge you to do more than what you have done in the past.”

The North-East, according to Senate President Ahmad Lawan, is Tinubu’s second zone after the South-West.

According to Shettima, campaign activities will soon begin, and “the Northeast is an APC domain, more so one of you is a running mate.”
