EMBRACE INTEGRITY IN YOUR DUTIES AND REAP A HARVEST THAT ENDURES

God’s grace is sufficient. He heals our wounds and supplies us with our every need. We need only to have faith in the mission God has entrusted in our hands.” In today’s gospel, the Lord Jesus summoned and entrusted to the twelve disciples the authority and power to preach and to heal those who are sick and those who are under the bondage of evil spirits.

Talk about an incredible responsibility! They were instructed not to go to pagan territories, showing them the importance of integrity and dedication to their mission. The Lord wants them to understand that integrity is golden and makes one’s labor enduring.

Think about it – what tasks has the Lord entrusted to your care? Are you carrying them out with integrity? Are you constantly seeking the Lord’s face so that you can do his work not by your power but by his grace and in the right manner?

We are called today to know that our Christian missionary mandate requires discipline and detachment from all the pagan and sinful actions that have corrupted some parts of our lives. Let us cut off these ugly attitudes because when we do, the harvest becomes bountiful. How amazing is that?

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
