Hollywood Actor; Ryan Rodney Reynolds was born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His mother Tamara Lee “Tammy” (Stewart) worked as a retail-store salesperson, while his father James Chester Reynolds was a wholesaler of food. He is the youngest of four children.
He is of Scottish and Irish descent. Between 1991 to 1993, Ryan starred among many other Canadian performers in the Nickelodeon series Fifteen (1990), which was filmed in Florida.
Following the conclusion of the series, he moved back to Vancouver and appeared in a number of forgettable television movies. He played supporting roles in the 1995 films Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story, starring Glenn Close, and In Cold Blood, updated by CBS (1996). But his streak of good fortune had convinced him to give up acting.
He met Chris William Martin, a fellow actor from Vancouver, one night. Ryan was looking fairly down when Martin came across him and instructed him to pack everything because they were moving to Los Angeles, California. The two stayed in a budget motel in Los Angeles.
Reynolds’ jeep was stripped on the first night of their stay after being rolled downhill. Ryan operated it without doors for the following four months. He was cast as Berg in the 1997 film Two Men, a Girl, and a Pizza Shop (1998). The show was first derided by critics and appeared to be eager for any kind of rating success. Nonetheless, a second season was ordered, with a clause calling for Kevin Abbott, the former writer of Roseanne (1988), to give it a makeover.
Ryan received more film parts as a result of the show, most notably in the final MGM movie, a version of The Amityville Horror (2005). Between 2004 and 2006, Ryan was engaged to another former Nickelodeon cast member, Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette.
With the sale of Mint Mobile in March, Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds’ net worth has increased by more than half to $350 million. As part of a broader cash-and-stock transaction, the Canadian sold his shares in the prepaid low-cost wireless service to telecom company T-Mobile US.
He is married to Blake Lively and they have been married since September 9, 2012. They are blessed with three daughters.
