So, you all should kindly give a standing ovation to Cameron Diaz wherever you are because she deserves it.
The 49yrs old multi-talented funny actress is coming out of retirement after eight years to star opposite Jamie Foxx in a new Netflix movie and we are super excited to see her on the screen again doing what she does best.
The thought of restarting your career can be scary especially if you have been away for a very long time but that can’t be said when you are talking about Cameron Diaz.
Diaz, who is married to Benji Madden, with whom she welcomed daughter Raddix in December 2019, gave her reason for being away from acting that long. She said her acting career prevented her from managing other parts of her life.
Speaking to actor and comedian Kevin Hart on his new talk show, Hart to Heart, she said: “When you do something at a high level for a long period, when you’re the person that is delivering one thing, you’re the person on the screen, all parts of you that aren’t that has to sort of be handed off to other people.”
The Charlie’s Angels star said she reached this conclusion when she was around 40.
Although a lot has changed since Diaz has been away from acting but we are confident that her comeback is going to be a BANG!
