“When I Came After Nigerian Pastors, I Lost 100% Of My Business…” — Daddy Freeze

Controversial media figure Daddy Freeze has disclosed how his vocal disapproval of Nigerian pastors led to the loss of everything he had.

In an open discussion with businessman Stephen Akintayo, the former radio host was unreserved as he recounted personal experiences that transformed his life.

“When I came after Nigerian pastors, I lost 100% of my business,” he said.

Freeze elaborated that his choice to criticize religious practices he deemed questionable came at a steep price.

“I lost everything. It all went like that.”

He also shared a poignant story about a young Muslim man who was refused employment due to his faith.

“The guy said, ‘I’m a Muslim.’ The man replied, ‘I can’t work with a Muslim.’ I watched the video. That guy was still at the gate when the building collapsed,” Freeze said, referencing a tragic event involving a collapsed structure.

According to Freeze, many Christians are often reluctant to collaborate with individuals of other faiths, a perspective he believes must evolve.

“Muslims are more open to working with Christians than the other way round,” he added.

Daddy Freeze also tackled the ongoing controversy surrounding his divorce.
He acknowledged that his ex-wife made claims of domestic violence — an accusation that followed him for years.

But in a rare moment of candor, he said:
“Now, in all fairness, we used to fight. And the fight used to get physical.”

He further noted that in Nigeria, people rarely accept that marriages can end without drama.

“You can’t just say ‘marriage no work, I want to divorce.’ You must be a monster. If not, they will not divorce you.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
