Will Smith And Chris Rock Have Allegedly Not Communicated After The Oscars Event

After being smacked live onstage at the Oscars on Sunday night, March 27, Chris Rock is reportedly yet to speak with Will Smith.

After the incident, their mutual buddy, rapper Diddy, stated that the two had worked out the issues, saying, “It’s all love. they’re brothers,” but recently, some sources are saying otherwise.

Chris Rock, who made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head looking like ‘G.I. Jane,’ is said to have been unaware that she suffers from alopecia.

According to TMZ, Rock and Smith have yet to reach a private settlement, and the two men have not communicated.

According to a close friend of Rock’s, the comedian immediately returned to his dressing room after the assault and exited the premises, as was his plan for the evening.

According to the source, Chris was unaware that Jada has alopecia and he ‘doesn’t have a mean bone in his body.’

Smith’s slap is said to have left Rock “shaken and bewildered,” but he bounced back in time and attend Madonna’s manager, Oseary’s Oscars After Party in LA.

Rock appeared ‘unfazed’ during the party, according to PageSix, and people had clustered around him.

“You wouldn’t really know anything had happened. He was talking about it, just saying it was crazy, but it didn’t seem to be bothering him at all,” a source told PageSix.

According to the source, some of Rock’s friends kept a tight eye on the door to see whether Smith would show up.

However, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences initiated an official investigation into the event on Monday, stating that it “condemns Mr. Smith’s actions at last night’s show.”

After suffering criticism for not naming Smith when first responding to the incident, the group issued the statement on Monday afternoon through its spokesperson saying: “The Academy condemns the actions of Mr. Smith at last night’s show.

“We have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct, and California law.”
