Two of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, Wizkid and Davido have scored nominations in two different categories in the 2022 Ghana-Nigeria Music Awards Festival.
Organizers of the Ghana-Nigeria Music Awards Festival USA announced the full list of nominees for maiden edition on Thursday, 26th May, 2022. The list saw top Nigerian acts Wizkid and Davido being nominated for two main categories; Ghana-Nigeria Artists Of The Year and Afrobeats Artists Of The Year.
In the ‘Ghana-Nigeria Artists Of The Year’, Wizkid and Davido will compete with the likes of Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Fireboy DML, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, KiDi and Black Sheriff foe the coveted prize, whiles in the ‘Afrobeats Artists Of The Year’, the duo will battle it out with KiDi, King Promise, Gyakie, Kelvyn Boy, Darkovibes, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, and Kizz Daniel.
The maiden Ghana-Nigeria Music Awards Festival USA edition comes off in June 2022 at the Fox Theater, UK edition comes off in August 2022, whiles Europe would experience the Festival in October 2022.
