Woman Connives With Boyfriend To K!ll Her Stepmother

A horrific murder case has rocked Tsholotsho, Zimbabwe, as authorities initiate a manhunt for a 34-year-old woman, Linnar Muzimela, and her boyfriend, known only as Nkosi, in connection with the killing of Muzimela’s stepmother, 58-year-old Jenifer Dube.

The crime is believed to have taken place in May 2025 at Magotsha Line, but it only surfaced months later. On 2 September, police discovered Dube’s remains in a shallow grave in the backyard garden after receiving a tip-off.

Investigators claim that Muzimela and Nkosi killed Dube before covertly burying her. The reason for the crime remains unknown, and police are working to uncover the details surrounding the murder.

National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi called for public help in locating the suspects, encouraging anyone with information to step forward.

“We are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of Linnar Muzimela and her boyfriend, Nkosi. They are wanted in connection with a case of murder in which the victim, who was Muzimela’s stepmother, was killed and buried in a shallow grave at Magotsha Line,” Nyathi said.

Neighbours reportedly grew suspicious after Dube vanished for several weeks, raising concerns that prompted authorities to search the property. Their fears were confirmed when police uncovered the body.

Commissioner Nyathi stressed the need for public cooperation, urging those with knowledge of the fugitives’ whereabouts to report to the nearest police station.

The motive remains uncertain, but police state that the search for Muzimela and Nkosi is being escalated.
