Woman Kills Police And Sets Her And Her Children Ablaze

Anambra state police have detained a woman, identified as Nneamaka Nwosu, for setting fire to a policewoman and her two children in Nnokwa, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the suspect, who is from Amawbia, became homeless after her divorce from her husband. She approached the police officer, who offered to accommodate her out of pity.

The lady recently got into an argument with the officer, which turned into a brawl. In a rage, the defendant allegedly hit the policewoman in the head with a pestle, knocking her out. The offender then allegedly tied the policewoman and her children with rope inside their room before setting fire to them.

The policewoman and her children were burned to death during the horrible event.

While claiming that it was the devil’s work, the suspect, who claimed she didn’t know what drove her to commit such heinous murder, also said that she deserved to be shot dead for carrying out such a heinous deed against the person who assisted her in her time of need.

According to the state police command’s spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the bodies of the policewoman and her children have been deposited at the mortuary.
