Woman St@bs Man To D3ath After Accusing Him Of Cheating

The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended one Augustina Mowari, who allegedly mUrdered her boyfriend, Michael Ikuedowoni, in the Okitipupa community, which serves as the headquarters of the Okitipupa Local Government Area in the state.

The suspect is said to have stabbed the deceased to de@th after a dispute arose between them regarding infidelity on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Olayinka Ayanlade, the command’s spokesperson, confirmed the incident and stated that the suspect is currently in custody following her arrest.

“There was an argument between the two, which led to the suspect stabbing the victim with scissors. He later d!ed in the hospital,” the PPRO stated.

“The suspect is in our custody, and the case will be charged to court after investigations are concluded.”

A source revealed that the couple had been living together in a one-room apartment and frequently faced conflicts stemming from trust issues and suspected infidelity.

“Both of them had been having issues. The lady accused Michael of cheating on her with another woman, which led to a heated argument. In the course of the fight, she brought out a pair of scissors and st@bbed him in the leg,” the source said.

“Michael was initially taken to a nearby hospital, where he received treatment and was discharged after being administered injections and prescribed medication.

“After being discharged, his condition deteriorated at home. His leg became swollen, and he was rushed back to the hospital on Sunday night. Unfortunately, he passed away despite the doctors’ efforts to save him.”
