Woman Subjects Her 12-Year-Old Stepdaughter To H0rrific Ab*se With Kn!fe, Cutlass And Fire

Amarachi Emmanuel, the 12-year-old stepdaughter of the woman detained, is allegedly subjected to horrifying abuse in Nekede, Owerri West Local Government Area, Imo State.

In a series of Facebook posts on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, writer and activist Chidiebube Okeoman, who is located in the state, confirmed the occurrence and stated that the mother had abused the child for eating food without her consent.

Before their father wed the suspect, who is reportedly a teacher, the victim and her siblings lost their mother.

The victim claimed that her stepmother had tortured her with a knife, a cutlass, and other dangerous tools.

She added that she was shoved into a fire by the suspect.

The journalist claims that the victim has been admitted to a hospital in order to receive emergency care.

“Just left Umuguma General Hospital in Owerri and I am happy to announce that little Amarachi Emmanuel, 12, whose step mother disfigured for eating food without her permission has been admitted,” he wrote.

“This happened after several hours of delay. Please thank my elder brother, Dr Uche Ewelike who intervened and made sure that the poor girl was given a bed space.

“Thank you also, my brother Ikenga John Mayor Mbubaudele, the Deputy Director, Social welfare, Owerri municipal council who raced down to assist me.

“Before living, I went to a nearby supermarket and got the little girl and her sister all they needed. This girl and her sister are out of school for two years now.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
