“World’s Tallest Woman” Dies At 23

A woman of extraordinary height passed away at the age of 23.

Standing 7.5 feet tall, Xiao Mo was well-known on the video social media platform Douyin with over 152,000 followers. She was from Shaoyang, China.

According to reports, she passed away on January 15 from complications stemming from a cold she had recently contracted.

Due to her films chronicling her everyday life, Mo gained popularity on Douyin, China’s answer to TikTok. According to local media, she was also known as “Hunan’s No. 1 Giantess” at times.

NBA player Yao Ming was four cm shorter than her.

Being raised by her grandparents after her mother abandoned her, she is reported to have had a challenging upbringing.

According to Chinese media, Mo suffered from a variety of underlying health ailments, including heart and vision problems, which were linked to her extraordinary height.

She was apparently cremated, and it is thought that her estranged father has yet to collect her remains from the Crematory.

Her unexpected death stunned her followers.

One Douyin user said online: “Have a good trip Xiao Mo. I hope you’ll be a healthy girl with loving parents in your next life.”

Someone else commented: “She and my sister were classmates in elementary school, and later in junior high school, because she was too tall and in poor health, she stopped studying.

“My sister said that she was a very good person, always helping her classmates and being very easy to get along with.”

Rumeysa Gelgi of Turkey is the tallest woman in the world, despite Mo’s perception to the contrary.

Guinness World Records states that Rumeysa, who is 7.7 feet tall, became the tallest woman in the world when she turned 18.

The 25-year-old’s height and several health problems, including scoliosis, are caused by the uncommon Weaver syndrome, a genetic disorder that causes bone overgrowth.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
