The actor said he devoted the day to prayers, charity, and thankfulness in a statement posted on his social media page on Sunday.
He prayed for long life, good health, peace, prosperity, and a purposeful life, and he thanked God for life, protection, and another year.
Quadri wrote, “Alhamdulillahi Rabbil ‘Alamin. Glory be to God Almighty, for He alone makes all things possible. Today, I am +1. I am deeply grateful to Allah for the gift of life, for His protection, His mercy, and for bringing me to yet another beautiful milestone. My prayer is that Allah grants me long life, sound health, peace, prosperity, and a life filled with purpose and impact. Ameen.
“To my family, friends, fans, colleagues, and all my wonderful well-wishers who wish to celebrate with me, I sincerely appreciate your love, prayers, and goodwill. Rather than a conventional birthday celebration, I have chosen to dedicate today to prayers, charity, and gratitude.
“I will be at home from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for prayers. Afterwards, I will proceed to a charity home to share love and give back to those in need, before returning home.
“Anyone who wishes to celebrate with me is warmly welcome to visit me at home after the charity visit. Your presence, prayers, and goodwill will mean more to me than any elaborate celebration. My birthday prayers today will be centred on:

Quadri remains one of Nollywood’s most prominent Yoruba actors with a career spanning over four decades in film, television and theatre.
