After attempting to pour acid on his own mother, a young man was detained by the police.
Mrs. Christiana Okoye, according to PM Express, has been identified as the young man’s mother.
According to reports, she left her first spouse in Ajegunle with her five children and married another man in Isheri Olofin, both in Lagos State, causing herself troubles.
According to the story, Tochukwu Emmanuel, one of her children, later realized that the guy they had lived with and called their father was not their actual father, since their real father was supposed to be living in poverty in Ajegunle.
Since then, Emmanuel was alleged to have been enraged, dropping out of secondary school and harassing his mother, Mrs. Christiana, threatening to kill her.
According to the residents, Emmanuel attempted to attack his mother and pour acid on her on two separate occasions, but he was unsuccessful because their neighbors always interfered and prevented him from doing so.
He was alleged to have been apprehended, charged in court, and remanded in prison custody before being freed.
But that didn’t stop him from attempting to carry out his plan to kill his mother.
He recently went to his mother’s house on Godswill Street, Isheri Olofin in the Idimu region of Lagos, broke the metal gate, and forced his way through, with intentions to pour acid on his mother, but the neighbours, alerted by a barking dog, prevented from entering the flat to carry out his heart desires.
