Zelensky Pleads With Trump To ‘Force’ Putin To End War

The head of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has called on US President Donald Trump to “force Russia into peace.”

Trump, who had earlier voiced irritation with Vladimir Putin for weakening Zelensky’s authority and standing, confessed he was “p*ssed off” with his Russian counterpart. This statement followed Putin’s claim that war-ravaged Ukraine required fresh leadership.

In a message shared on X on Sunday evening, the 47-year-old Ukrainian President declared: “Right now, Russia continues looking for excuses to drag this war out even further. Putin is playing the same game he has since 2014.”

“This is dangerous for everyone – and there should be an appropriate response from the United States, Europe, and all our global partners who seek peace.”

Zelensky’s post on X came after Trump cautioned that Russia might face a fresh wave of stringent economic penalties due to the breakdown of peace talks. In a conversation with NBC host Kristen Welker, Trump indicated these sanctions might involve a tariff ranging between 25 and 50 percent on oil from Russia, according to the Mirror.

He further cautioned other nations that if they buy oil from Putin’s country: “you can’t do business in the United States.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
