60-Year-Old Man Take Advantage Of 12-Year-Old Physically challenged Girl

Victor Obilor, a 60-year-old man from Rivers state, was allegedly arrested by police for assaulting a 12-year-old physically challenged girl.

Eze Eleonu, the victim’s father, claimed he saw Obilor in his underwear with his physically challenged daughter, who, he claims, also has speech and hearing problems.

Eleonu told reporters that the culprit, Obilor, raped his daughter while he was out of his house in Ubima community, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state, on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He claimed that when he entered his room, he discovered Obilor completely naked sitting next to his daughter, who was also naked, and he grabbed him before raising the alarm.

According to him, the shout he gave drew a neighbor to his house who assisted in holding Mr. Obilor before members of a local vigilante group arrived and carried him to their office before handing him over to the Ubima Police Division.

The father said, “I was coming back from Omagwa and alighted from a motorcycle in the front of my compound and I noticed that the door to my house was open, which raised my suspicions.

“As I approached the room, I saw somebody that got up from a chair stark naked. I was able to recognise him immediately.

“His name is Victor Obilor. I held him and I saw my daughter on the couch with her dress folded slightly above her Bosom s. So I had to start shouting, calling on people to come to see what Victor did to my daughter.

“We held him before OSPAC vigilante came and carried him to their office. The man was transferred to the Ubima police division.

“On Monday, the DCO came and gave me a doctor’s report to go to any government hospital and run a check, and when we went to a hospital, the doctor said there was a penetration.

“I need justice. They should charge the matter to court.”

Grace Iringe-Koko, the state police acting spokesperson, said she had not yet heard the report.
