The Plateau State Police Command has displayed the 20-year-old man named Moses Okon, who was detained for the alleged ritual murder of Jennifer Anthony, a University of Jos 300-level student.

She was allegedly invited to Domus Pacis lodge on Zaria road in Jos by a man believed to be her boyfriend, who is also a student of the University of Jos’ Zoology department, where she was drugged before being murdered and her essential organs removed.

It was also learned that following the heinous deed, the boyfriend fled the hotel and took almost everything that could be used to track him, including the lady’s phone and other belongings in her purse.

Jennifer’s mangled body was discovered by one of her friends who tracked her down to the hotel and discovered her in a pool of blood with her eyes and other important organs gone, according to a source around the hotel.

Mr. Batholomew Onyeka, Plateau State Commissioner of Police, speaking with news reporters just after the parading of Moses Okon said that the “suspected killer of Miss Jennifer Anthony whose lifeless body was found mutilated on a new year day at Domus Pacis Guest House, Jos by a man named Moses Oko has been apprehended in Benue State.”

He said, “The man aged 20 years, suspected to be her boyfriend fled after committing the crime, the Command in a bid to arrest the perpetrator launched an aggressive manhunt on the suspect and tactically trailed him to Benue State where he was arrested by hawked-eye police operatives of the Command”

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
